A Message from Our Alumni Volunteer
The fraternity experience for members of Phi Delta Theta at Ohio University is directly supported by the Chapter Advisory Board (CAB). The CAB is a volunteer-driven wing of alumni devoted to enhancing the fraternity experience through directly advising the Executive Committee of the chapter and supporting executive leadership positions. The CAB meets monthly to share updates about the chapter, identify opportunities, oversee elections, plan and implement annual transition retreats and summer leadership retreats. CAB members also serve as advisors to committees and receive regular updates about chapter operations. CAB members are located in Athens, Ohio as well as serving remotely. CAB members meet with The Executive Committee regularly, visit the chapter house often, attend chapter meetings as schedules permit, and meet with members of the chapter on-request. The CAB is a committed team of professionals spanning several industries who collaboratively work together to leave a stronger fraternity experience for future undergraduates than they received as students. The CAB hopes to provide support that enables the continued growth of the chapter. It is a hope that in the future, we will provide enhanced professional development opportunities and more regular networking events in the future.
